Nea Capital Limited was a London-based financial services entity that was authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority focusing on alternative investment management using option strategies. Its clients were Professional investors including institutional and intermediate/non-private investors (comprising high-net-worth-individuals, where applicable).

Hedge Fund: Our principal activity is managing investments. The company was restructured, changed management, ownership and name in 2009.

Investment Management: The investment management team has in-depth knowledge and expertise in both structured products and alternative investment strategies acquired by its members over a number of years in global financial institutions.

Advisory: In the past we had also offered advisory services, relying on the strength of our proprietary platforms to design and implement solutions promptly and cost-efficiently for our clients. Nea Capital has undertaken active advisory work in the U.K., EU and India extending to building the derivatives operations, advising on the launch of split capital investment trusts as well as hedge funds on the application of option strategies. Advisory initiatives included OTC option strategies on Indian and Russian listed companies, linked to raising finance.

Nea Capital was created in 2000 aiming to apply derivatives trading expertise in the asset management arena through a systematic modeling approach.

The Nea Capital team employs a highly quantitative approach to trading and investment management, and has built sizeable proprietary analytics libraries, enabling it to price very complex structures and to decompose and risk-manage them in terms of liquid risk instruments. This ability, combined with extensive mathematical modelling creates a trading platform that complements the team members' extensive trading and risk-management experience.

The core path-dependent quantitative model has been used and adjusted since 1994. During this time it has been applied to the most liquid financial markets and in the last four years dynamically optimized for each of the major equity indices (S&P 500, FTSE 100 etc.)

Nea Capital undertakes the management of segregated accounts, mixing our core trading strategy in a variable leverage with other passive investments or indices.
